[NEEDS INFO] Blank screen when starting game (v. r11863) in Linux Mint 13 KDE

A blank black screen is all that loads when the game is started. The cursor is properly rendered and moves, and music begins, but screen is blank. The only part of the terminal output that indicates any problem is this line:

"SDL_GetWMInfo is not implemented on this platform"

Otherwise no error messages are reported in terminal. Running "0ad/0ad-r11863-alpha/binaries/system/test" reports OK.

Manually compiled on Linux Mint 13 KDE. Running with nVidia R302.11 Linux drivers.

That message is probably caused by #1355 and is harmless if it occurs after you close the game.

Are you starting the game in fullscreen mode? What happens if you change the default setting to windowed, or if you use Alt+Enter to switch modes after starting the game?

The problem persists when entering windowed mode. I can confirm that the SDL_GetWMInfo message does come up after closing the window.

I am using a single monitor. Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop with Nvidia Go 7300 card and proprietary R302.11 Nvidia driver.

Same problem here (only mouse cursor visible). Seems to work if starting with

0ad -vsync 1

Someone had a similar blank screen issue on Debian, it was solved by uninstalling and reinstalling video drivers. Please try that and see if it helps.
