https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwTrxKdLUT0&feature=youtu.be I made a quick video to explain. So here is how it should work. You make a pattern with textures, units, buildings, whatever. You select them with something like a big brush. You are now able to copy paste as much as you want and to save the pattern for further use.
