What's left to close this ticket? Some support for Random maps or something?

Milestone: BacklogAlpha 6

I guess the ticket as described has been fixed. (I'm not sure if rotation should be added as well as position, but this might be a needless complexity)

For ordinary gameplay I think position is good and well, the rotation shouldn't need to change but rather be the default. Later when we have triggers so people can make scenarios which aren't necessarily ordinary gameplay there may be interest in being able to set a certain rotation as well. Though in most cases it should be possible to lay out the map in a way to lessen the need for that I'd guess. Either way it shouldn't need to be prioritized at the moment, though if it's something you can do in a couple of minutes it's probably just as well to have it done now so that it's done. On the other hand, if it's easy to do maybe create a new ticket and give it the "simple" keyword, so someone else can have a comparatively easy starting point into 0 A.D. programming.
