Essential:

  • Multiplayer with at least 2 players.
  • One civilization (Hellenes) in a balanced state.
  • 2-3 maps.
  • Enough art to support the maps and civ we choose.
  • Non-working features hidden from user interface, non-existent units disabled, etc.
  • Sufficient testing to ensure stability and performance on a wide base of systems.

Inessential, but would be nice:

  • Easy to use game settings program (beats editing user.cfg).
  • Rudimentary matchmaking service supporting NAT punchthrough.
  • Hotloading in Atlas.
  • Rmgen integrated into game engine.
  • Review and update of the profiling and crash reporting tools.
  • Sound.
  • Some sort of single player sandbox, like maybe a simple "fixed force" scenario where you fight against a static enemy.
  • (Better/automated) Compression of the data files before downloading.
