== 2.2. Main Menu Layout == The backdrop depicts the interior of a Roman commander's tent. Our intention is to convey the atmosphere that the player is commanding an ancient military campaign. A pre-rendered parchment map dominates the menu screen background. Rollover text will appear to the right of the large 0 A.D. logo, describing the highlighted menu option. A semi-transparent dark box of dynamic size will also appear below such messages, to make the text clearly visible.
