Agree, either won't fix or keep min distance to the target if we absolutely have to. With regards to siege engines reaching the target, the idea to push units away was also mentioned, but would require more elaborate pathfinder changes.

    1 When starting to build a building, all selected units go to building site, including units that cannot build. These units should ignore build command and leave space for workers. The same problem is with garrisoning into siege weapons... siege weapon tries to stay in formation and runs away from soldiers trying to garrison.
