I don't know if trompetin17 has time to complete his work before A19. It might be sensible to push that to A20, as A19 already has a lot of new things and as we are already half a year from the latest release.

I'm wondering if we can't take his work the way it is currently. Are there any major bugs? Maybe only some testing is needed?

It is fairly broken on Windows. Also there is a problem with small resolutions, docks can't be resized to less than their content (it would be better to have scrolling bars appear).

Replying to Itms:

How broken? Having a list of known bugs would give a good start to finish the ui2.

Also there is a problem with small resolutions

How small? http://play0ad.com/download/ says 1024x768 is minimum.

If there are major bugs, knowing them would help. If there are some minor bugs, maybe not all of them are totally required to be fixed for a19?

Thanks trompetin17 for working on this.

Just to make sure we are on the same page: IMO you should focus on cleaning up your work and propose a patch so it hopefully gets committed.
