Summary: text aliangment problem in summary screen in german translationSummary screen columns too small for some translations

It is not an alignment issue, but the summary screen is too small to display all text for all columns. Could be fixed by introducing scrolling maybe.

Might be a duplicate of some other ticket.

Yes I posted other problems in German summary screen, but in older 0ad versions A18; issue #3085.

The current problem is A19!

There are a lot of space so it is easy to fix, see tab: "Einheiten" (english: units) and "Ressourcen" (english: ressources) which is a lot wider.

Yes, but that would be a solution specifically for germans. Other languages might have problems in other places. Also the columns should be equally distanced. Also we need to support 1024x768 and will probably add more things to the summary screen. Scrolling seems to be the proper solution to me to cover all those issues.

The solution for me is supporting higher resolution (like: 1280x1024). There are not so many people who use a 1024x768 screen.

Scrolling on a FullHD screen...WTF! A FullHD screen is available for 100 EUR or less!

Replying to raymond:

Scrolling on a FullHD screen...WTF!

Only scrolling if the screen size is not sufficient.

A FullHD screen is available for 100 EUR or less!

If you buy me one I might reconsider ;)

Also translating is not only unsing some automated translation service as some seem to be doing...
