Description
All buildings could receive an aura that increases the base regeneration rate of surrounding buildings.
This way isolated houses will be easier to capture than a group of houses and maybe incentivize to capture progressively from the outside rather than going right to the center.

Disadvantages: There already are implicit bonuses incentivizing building close together:
It seems nowadays most people build their buildings already in attack range of the civic center and build things as close together as possible, so as to introduce the maximum amount of pathfinding issues to the enemy (keeping them longer under CC attack fire). Don't know if it's a performance issue. Isolated houses already are easier to capture and since players utlimately want to capture or destroy the city center, they will need to get past the buildings/walls/buildingwalls.
Placing buildings in clusters is also advantageous because it reduces the supply lines (units reach buildings more quickly if they are close).
Advantages: It changes the capture rate from a boring uniform distribution to a distribution that is chosen by the player. So it gives players more possibilities to plan their build order well and anticipate the strategic use of buildings. The effect is not only visible defensively, but also when constructing forward buildings. A remote village will be slightly harder to takeover than the same number of isolated houses.

got some sub components.
Imo there is yet the information of this aura and adding it would be a bit redundant. Moreover even if house are not moving, it will add really many auras. So I m more for a 'no'.
