Description

I love 0 A.D., but to make it make it easier to find and put to work idle workers I would like to suggest you's either create a button to select all idle workers (so that one doesn't have to select them one at a time using the existing find idle workers button) or change the existing find idle workers button so that it selects all idle workers.

There are 2 other good ways to add idle workers to the queue (mentioned in the manual):

Shift + . will add all idle workers to the selection. You just need to hold down the shift key when "." is used.

"I" and left mouse drag will select all idle workers where the mouse is dragged.

That what andy5995 said.

Also, in particular selecting all idle workers is problematic because once you send a move order to them, you might just order all of them to go through an enemy base, if one half of the idlers is left of an enemy base and the other half right of an enemy base.

Perhaps it's better to move the two idle worker hotkeys closer to WASD, so that one can quickly jump to the next idle worker and also select many of them at once, without having to put the eyes off the screen.

Didn't know there were such mechanisms, thanks for pointing them out. Although a single button to select all idle users still sounds more convenient than these two methods.

Sorry didn't meant to revert the changes to the ticket. That seems silly that whenever I write a comment when you's edit the ticket your ticket changes get reverted...

offscreen + idleworker = Alt + . does this. Then follow = F to focus on them. (My hotkeys are setup as Alt+F and F6.)

Move tickets to In-game UI as UI & Simulation got some sub components.

offscreen + idleworker indeed does the job

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
