Description

svn version is crashing while saving a random vfs cache file to disk. Since releases are pre-cached, they are working.

Doesn't seem to be caused by pyrogenesis, but by the used antivirus scanner. See forum post.

Not a duplicate, just another place where that software triggers an error. And ​Phab:D2088 addresses yet another.

Just some quick report..

I'm currently not active here as you may have noticed, so WIP is fairly optimistic.. I still love playing this game so I'll get back on fixing this as soon as I find some time for it.

Confirmed: The problem ist not gone in new SVN versions. The patch still works, but isn't optimal. As there were some other changes to related files, parts of the error handling got fixed and crashes now get even recognized from time to time (instead of blank crashes).. Still to investigate, though..
