Reported by: | Langbart | Owned by:

Priority: | If Time Permits | Milestone: | Backlog |
Component: | UI & Simulation | Keywords:
Cc: | Patch: |
Description
[macOS] If a replay folder contains a special character e.g. \
(backslash) or /
(slash) no replay is being displayed, not even a warning/ error shows up.
A similar issue was solved for special letters e.g. @
in ticket #6373 (1/Nov/21).
See image below for more clarity.
[Windows] Here the operating system gives you a notification that this is not allowed, this is not the case under macOS.

[15:59:31] Langbart Slash or backslash, nothing is displayed [15:59:47] elexis but there isnt even a replay showing up in the list [15:59:53] Langbart right [15:59:54] elexis so the getreplaypath function istn even called [16:00:20] Langbart not even an error or warning comes up [16:00:55] elexis that seems like a separate bug, thats on macOS? [16:01:14] Langbart it can't handle "Slash, backslash" at least on mac, i will test it windows 10 with alpha23 [16:01:38] elexis this sucks ... [18:43:55] elexis you might want to document the bug where a directory with a backslash in the name on macOS is not being picked up
