) - Look at the reins, they are very bright, they catch the eye very easily.
- You have to change the camera angle a little and zoom out, up close the reins look more brown.
- See image below for more clarity

It looks less bright in A23, but starting with A24 it is bright.

Could it simply be a texture issue, if I replace the props/horse/peytral_iron_03.png
with props/horse/peytral_iron.png
in the camel_rein.xml file it looks better.

Then yes it's likely an alpha color issue. When the mipmaps are generated they probably mix too much white. One would have to look into the dds texture to see what's going on.
