I am using xubuntu 14.04 with NVIDIA Driver version 304.
I can see the writings on the menu screen but the rest are blank/black.
Single player match also does not load the proper images

I installed 0ad version 0.18 from ubuntu's repository.

Is it still reproducible? Could you disable GLSL rendering?

Which version of the game, and is this an official package or did you compile it? Also, please attach your system_info.txt from the game's log directory.
