Description
The new features in 0.1.18 make pyrogenesis
the ultimative bottleneck because it's single threaded and causes lags up to 5 seconds. top
clearly shows that pyrogenesis
is the reason.
I've seen a FAQ stating that this seems to be a regular issue occuring on mailing lists and forums, but I didn't find a ticket, so I'm bringing this up as an issue.

There's non with multithread in the title so, that's not possible to find out easily. Can you link or mark as duplicate?

Tickets should be about a specific issue or enhancement, not about "make the game less laggy". And "make the game multithreaded" doesn't mean anything, several parts could be threaded (and we have tickets and/or TODOs for these), other parts can't.
