To clarify what team members belong to each other, we could use one line style for the borders per team.
Some examples of lifestyles: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/playit.asp?filename=playcss_border-style&preval=dashed
This is better for observers and players since the player don't get the vision of an ally.
