Flickering fields - Z buffer issue

When zooming in or out, the new field models and the (old) grass tufts models are flickering as the graphics card can't decide which of these 'vertical textures' is to be rendered first (Z-ordering issue).

OS: Ubuntu 15.04 Graphics card: ATI AMD Radeon HD 6450 Driver: fglrx 15.200

Since noone else seems to experience this, it might be a driver related problem.

Probably not driver related as I experience similar issues. OS: Arch Linux Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 950 Driver: 364.19
