No Sound after Windows 10 PC wakes up after sleep

Description
Game was paused and Windows 10 PC went into sleep mode due to inactivity. Upon restarting windows and resuming game,there was no sound. Had to save game, close and re-load.

Did you have any errors or warnings when you resumed ? (usually text at the top of the screen) do you use an external soundcard or headphones ?
