Regarding string:

Cannot upgrade as distance requirements are not verified or terrain is obstructed.

"Distance requirements" may be unclear for translators. It would be good to be more specific for players too (for instance "Cannot upgrade to a %(name): another %(name) is less than %(meters) meters away")
