  • Run with default settings.
  • Some errors, for example Ptol wonder get triggered only on random/jebel_barkal, but not on random/mainland. Do I have to test all buildings on all maps ?

Do I have to test all buildings on all maps?

A map itself doesn't affect shaders, but it affects their context (how some defines appear). For example:

IGNORE_LOS - usually added for building previews
PASS_REFLECTIONS - objects reflected in water
MODE_SHADOWCAST - objects casting shadows
MODE_SILHOUETTEOCCLUDER - objects occluding silhouettes
MODE_SILHOUETTEDISPLAY - objects casting silhouettes
USE_SHADOW - shadows are enabled
USE_SHADOW_PCF - shadows filtering is enabled
USE_PLAYERCOLOR - objects with player color areas
USE_FOG - fog is enabled

Could you try the last (0.27.18) mod version?

  • all Assertion failed errors are gone with 0.27.18
    • ticket can be closed ?
