    1 Right now, only gnome-software uses them. It's in development and should ship in version 20 or 21 of Fedora. KDE's Apper projct will use them, too and I think every other program that makes use of AppStream (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AppStream).
     1Every other program that makes use of AppStream will need the file (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AppStream). Gnome's Software center, KDE's Apper and Ubuntu's Software Center can use it. That'd at least cover Fedora, Ubuntu and Suse.

    33/docs looks like the appropriate directory. It should be installed to /usr/share/appdata/0ad.appdata.xml
