How to install the latest version on Mac OS X

An Apple Disk Image (DMG) package is available for OS X on Intel Macs. Download the DMG, open and wait for it to verify, then drag-and-drop 0ad.app to the location of your choice, typically the system's Applications directory.

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) users, 0 A.D. is not (yet) code-signed for Gatekeeper. If the application won't start, right-click on it and choose "open". 0 A.D. should start normally from then on.

• 10.6+ 64-bit: Requires Snow Leopard/10.6 or later and a 64-bit processor. ​Download the OS X 10.6+ 64-bit .dmg package (377 MB).

• 10.5+ 32-bit: Intended for older Intel Macs running Leopard/10.5 but also seems to work on Lion. ​Download the OS X 10.5+ 32-bit .dmg package (370 MB).

How to get info on new releases

There are several ways to be notified when a new release is out, as well as getting notified on other updates, either by subscribing to the ​email mail list, following ​0 A.D. on Twitter or ​Facebook, or the ​RSS feed.
