Description
As found by Philip (see the irc logs http://irclogs.wildfiregames.com/2014-05-05-QuakeNet-%230ad-dev.log 18:27 onwards, with a solution around 19:38), the big screenshot needs way too much continious space (around 350MB).

This is a duplicate of #1619. I was thinking about it the other day, preferably we would allocate a much smaller amount of memory, process and write the image to file in blocks (with the caveat that the rendered image shouldn't change during this time). Maybe it's easier to tweak the existing code, but even 90MB seems excessive.
