crash with quadroM2000M and when in systematic assault mode

Description

I, I'm playing with Cartaginois and the cavalry you obtain in temples. I do arround 150 horse before to attack the 7 oponend (IA) on a big card. In a lot of cards ... I used to assault citycenter after citycenter then move without fight the high number of soldier of the opponent. The game crash when I complete to destroy half city center (at 150 horse ... every civilisation is at the maximum of its power and have a lot of soldiers), and a lot of soldier are still alive and fight. When ... the fan of the graphic card become high and ... the game crash. IT's really often. My PC ... Lenovo P50 with 64 GO RAM / Xeon / Quadro M2000M, screen 4K but game in FullHD.

The file crashlog.dmp interestinglog.html are 0kb Kill the ticket 4036, it's same, I didn't understood first the 4035 was took in consideration by the system.

Hi there. We would also need the replay file, but I think I know what happened.

You likely played with the latest release (Alpha 20) on Windows and some AI bots. It is well known that this crashes, as the AIs need a lot of memory and the windows .exe file was only able to allocate 2GB (32 bit). This should be solved for alpha 21 (r18711) which will be released in very short time.

So if I'm right that crash happens often with these conditions and not occur when playing with a mapsize < large and max 8 players * 150 population. Please reopen this ticket if I'm wrong ;)

Other enhancement for the IA. The IA is stupid ... once the citycenter is get, IA destroy immediately all building who is no more "securized" by citycenter. So ... the IA have no more possibility to build any soldier and there is one job to do : destroy the last 200 alive soldiers then win ..

Ah, as I'm lazy to wait to gain money, I start immediately with infinite money and so grow immediately.

It is a very hard task to teach the bots to play better. If you have specific isssues like this one, it might be worth to create a specific ticket for the AI. (Notice that bugreports shouldn't be umbrella tickets but only have one specific issue, so that solving them is easier)

Replay file ? where I find it ? It's not in : C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\0ad\logs

Surely, I've seen on a GTX 970 that the game play better under linux Ubuntu Mate 15.10 and a Q9650 intel.

Hey, with 64 Go PC to worke sometimes (and play often) .... the game could use more the memory and less the GRaphic card.

This should be solved for alpha 21 (r18711) which will be released in very short time.

I play Alpha 21 then I see if it's behave as alpha 20 Thanks for your so quick answer ! I'm impressed. !!

Ah, the r18711 is not a link (It's my first bug report here). And there is no link to download a dll to replace. See you at the Alpha 21 soo :) If yes ... ticket closed I think.
