Description
Map Flares was added to the SVN version on 5/Jun/21 with [25691], it was briefly discussed via IRC 0ad-dev on 6/Jun/21 and 7/Jun/21 to add a short notification on the side of the screen like we already have when we get attacked.
Adding a small map symbol would also look cool, a game called Factorio does that.
