Hi fral, do you use the alpha16 version or the svn one?
And does the game crash every time you try to launch it?

No I use the Alpha 16 and crashes occour sometimes, but not every time I launch it. I use to launch the game with no other windows or applications opened but antivirus (Avira 14.0.5.464 of 2th July, 2014) and firewall (Windows Firewall). For example, after I opened this ticket, 0AD started successfully. For your information, only Alpha 16 presents this issue, older versions always started successfully, both with Win7 and WinXP SP3.
P.S. You were so fast in answer, thanks!

I had the same issue back in A16 and it is fixed now - I don't know what was the exact problem though, because back then I was not as involved in the development as I am today ;)
Don't worry, these crashes won't happen in the middle of a game, and the next version should be released in less than a month. In the mean time, if you want to take a closer look at the development process and test new features, don't hesitate to take a look at the page BuildInstructions.

Thanks again! Actually 0AD never crashed during the game and sometimes I left it in pause for 3-4 hours and when I returned, after awaking the PC from the stand-by, I simply clicked "Resume" and restart to play normally with no lag or crash. I opened the ticket because it never crashed before, as I said, and I wanted to inform developers of this (only) little issue. Now I'm waiting for new version ;)
