settings not changing after i change them

hello love the game an all types like this but i cant change any settings don't know if they just don't work right now but cant change anything

If you're talking about sound levels, you have to hit Enter to save the settings. We plan to improve this as soon as possible.

Else, can you describe what happens exactly?

yes i click to change the setting may it be to make it windowed or the detail to take out shadows aswell as all the sound i pressed enter used the button nothing changes aswell i have a button on my keybord that mutes turns up or down my sound it wont work wile the game is runing

This is a known bug. On certain laptops, the hotkeys don't work. see#2200

The option system was changed in alpha 20. Please update and check if it happens again.

If you indeed experience this bug again, you can reopen it. But please explain what exactly happens (which settings are affected and how do they behave (for example do the checkboxes become checked/unchecked when you click on them?)). Also I wouldn't be surprised if changing values in some configs might override options (I noticed user.cfg and local.cfg both saving watersettings for example).
