Description
This bug was first reported in the Forum by 'mvandemar'. (I'm just creating the ticket so the bug will not be forgotten.)
It is currently not possible to load a quicksave SHIFT
+F5
file from the menu.
Quickload SHIFT
+F8
to access a quicksave file works though.
Of course, quickload can only be used if you do not leave the game after pressing quicksave.
This bug can be reproduced for A23b.

Replying to Freagarach:
Perhaps it was intended this way?
The more important question is: What is more reasonable and causes the least confusion for the users? ;P

This is definitely "intended" in that quick-saves aren't actual saves. That being said, I think we _could_ add a "last quick save" in this particular menu if there is a one. Takes a bit of special handling, but would fix the issue.

Another user expressed interest in this feature in an earlier forum thread from May 5, 2016: What I as a beginner of 0 A.D. am missing most by ‘civilis‘
I would like to have access to quicksave~ (the quicksave before the last). So in case I detect an playing-error in quicksave, I could start again from quicksave~ (and have always 2 valid quick safeties to choose from, eg. Shift(F7 and F8)). Ideally those two would also appear in the normal list of savegames. (Helpful to see which save is the latest.)
