No maps viewable in single-player Match Set-up screen

Description
Attempting to set up a single-player match, I simply encounter an empty Match Set-Up screen -- the UI is there but the columns are not populated by "player name" etc, and no maps are available.
(I can access and play saved games.)

Thanks. I didn't realise scenarios count as mods. I have deleted the Macedonia scenario and it works again. Thanks again.
