I am encountering an irritating error right when I click "start game". I have attached files as required.

You could try to install A25b. It could fix that bug with your mods.

Thanks for your response. No, I do not have any mods installed as yet. The problem is solved, however: it was actually Windows Security blocking Pyrogenesis.exe (Ransomware protection); I allowed pyro through and game ran as usual.

I think this should be mentioned right at the download page for windows users who have Windows Security enabled. Others might find it useful.

Thanks for letting us know! Indeed some antivirus do some zeal but I had never seen Windows Defender panic before...
