Description (last modified by fabio) (diff)
Just a reminder. 256 x 256 should be enough.
EDIT: 128x128 icon committed.
An icon without the shadow should be better (as for OS X) see: http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15902 Icon without shadow available at: http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15902&st=0&p=237549&#entry237549

Replying to michael:
To which icon are you referring?
See build\resources, 0ad.png is 48x48 and ps.ico is only 24x24. That is ridiculously small these days :)

The new icon is higher resolution but having a shadow the main logo is not centered and has the same problem described at http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15902 . On the same link there is an icon without the shadow.

Are you saying 0ad.png should not have a shadow? I don't know the Linux icon convention, if there is one. I'd be happy to replace it with a shadowless version if that works better.

The version without the shadow looks better to me (tried in the Ubuntu menu): the shadow is hardly visible and the icon seems not centered. I resized the OSX icon to 128x128 and optimized it, you can find it at: http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=15902&st=0&p=237549&#entry237549
