Another thing that might help is to try Microsoft's free DebugView utility. If you run that, then try to run the game, you should see some output in DebugView which you can copy and paste here. There may be clues about what's going wrong.

Hi, can you find the crashlog files in the game's log folder and attach them here? The error message alone is not very useful. Also it would help if you mention what you were doing when the crash occurred or at what point of using the game.
