Probably duplicate of #4181

Can you upload the crash log and system info? https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/ReportingErrors

What's new to me is that it doesn't crash on alt+tab while in the menu.

Can you do what elexis said ?

comment:5 by elexis, 7 years ago

I don't know what's at memory address 18, but if you are using an Intel HD 4xxxx, then your issue is probably tracked. The system info and crash dump file can be found at http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths

comment:7 by Darthvoider, 7 years ago

Open C:\Users\JohnDoe\AppData\Local\0ad\logs\ and upload system_info.txt and crash.dmp (or some similar file name) here.

system_info.txt contains the name of your graphics card. But if you can't find the files and know the name of your graphics card, that might help too.

I really hope i don't end up playing windowed mode, i don't like it.

If we finally manage to figure out what's causing this as none of us can reproduce the bug anymore it'll probably get fixed for next alpha. Might also provide a tweaked exe file for Windows to wait for the new version. I didn't have time to look at it tonight.

Graphics Card : Intel Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600

There we go, dupe of #4181.

Thanks for your crashdump. If Stan could transcribe it to a textual stack, that might help (considering that the other two stacks in the other tickets are different).

It's marked as a release blocker, because this bug is and has been reported frequently since ages.
